OK people I booked it today and confirmed costs.

When : 18/19 October 2008
Where: The Deer Farm Park, Borumba Dam, via Imbil.
Costs: Camping from $9 per night for two people per site.
Target Species: Bass, Yellowbelly,Cod and Saratoga.
Conditions: Be a financial member of the ECKFC.

I have booked a similar site as last year, will we be camping along side Yabba Creek. This site is close to the amentities and a very well organised camp kitchen.

There is also the option for some of us if they wish to stay in on site vans or cabins also. But let me tell you gra will not like it

The costs are as follows for all overnight acommodation,

Camping : $9 per night for 2 adults per site

Overnight Vans : $40 per couple per night

Budget cabins : $55.00 per couple per night

Deluxe Cabins : $65.00 per couple per night

I have booked an area for the camping but if you wish to organise other accomodation it will be up to you the individual to organise this.

The dam is narrow and long and the treed area where most saratoga is caught is a paddle or peddle to the end of the dam of about 3km. Last year we were the we all caught fish, Bass and yellas but I think none of us caught Saratoga. A few of us are keen to go back and try though.

The camp some of us had there last year is still on our minds, we had an absolute ball there, so come along to this one and join in the fun.

It would be great to see some new faces there and you regulars are welcome too.
