Howdy all.
I have had a few people ask me how or what I
used to build my Rocket Launcher. Now this is
a bit hard to do after you build it so here is
my best effort on a how 2 after I have finished.
Things you will need is the following.
1/ About 3 meters of 40mm Low Pressure pipe (actual
length for mine was 264cm)
2/ 4 x 40mm offset T pieces. (low pressure) Got
these from the markets for $2.50 each
3/ 1 x 32mm High pressure T Piece.
4/ 1 x packet of 40m Zenith Picture Hooks
5/ That Blue glue stuff
6/ Can of black paint ( hey it might be silver
or pink, 2 buck fiddly bits from Bunnings)
Tools
1/ Hacksaw
2/ Drill
3/ Rivet Gun
4/ Drill Bits. Various sizes but you wil need
a 12.5mm
5/ File
Ok. Actual rod holder when fitted looks like
this.

Here is a picture of it uninstalled

Here are the actual Dimensions of all the bits
as fitted to my Revo

Close up of the Offset T pieces that form the
upright connection and the cross connection. Have
a closer look and you will see that the actual
T is not a perfect T and it is offset.

Next shot shows the actual centre connector.
Have a closer look this is the 32mm High pressure
T piece and it is a proper T with the same amount
of offset both sides.

Ok here is the drawing again. You will notice
that the drawing is not aligned as far as the
centre sections go. Have a close look at the T
pieces again. See the offsets and proper T pieces.
The centre section is draw this way as the rod
holders in the actual Yak are slightly angled,
so you are never going to get a perfect square
end result.
Cut your little bits up and dry install them
to each other. Make sure you are happy before
you glue the little tackers together.

Right. Now that its all together its time to
drill a couple of holes for the slots for your
rods. I suggest that you start with a small hole
and move up to a larger bit to the end hole which
in my case was 12.5mm. The first hole is drilled
approx 40mm from the top of the rocket launcher.
Once all holes are drilled then get you hacksaw
blade and cut down neatly to the sides of the
holes to make the slots. Clean up with a file
all rogh bits and you should end up with something
that looks like this.

Ok, still got all your fingers. The last thing
is to get the rocket launcer into your rod holder
and look at where you are going to put your picture
hooks. Remember, measure twice. Ok the picture
hooks come with 4 nail things in them. Pull them
out. See where you want the hook on the lower
section, drill and pop rivet them on.

Paint it and the end result should look something
hopefully like this.

Here it is fitted with four rods and my net all
mounted. Sexy hey.
